I used markee for ages but was never informed, by the site, word of mouth or in any way, that this site had been formed. Unfortunately, it's taken me this long to actually hear about it and sign up.

Setup is great, the new ideas for donators is great. Hope there are more ideas for immersing users into the community and updating the site in attractive and positive ways.

Getting the name out there to more people should be a priority, maybe it was because I had stopped buying/selling but after having used markee for years, it was a surprise to me when I found out that this site existed and I didnt know about it.

Jw, why do you believe the market isn't what it used to be? (I have a few reasons, but I'm wondering why you think it's at a recline).

No fresh games, no fresh content, worsening real world economy, etc.

True, definitely. Account sales increase when hype increases for the most part. Right now the only hype is an expansion for world of warcraft that isn't out for months, a new star wars game that has no release date and a "2010" expansion that has been talked about for darkfall for over a year - an expansion for a game with a small population, speaking relatively, and a "niche" community that doesn't bring in alot of players by word of mouth.

Temporarily, yes. When people realize they're wasting time like back when Everquest started releasing an expansion every year or half year, it'll decline. Blizzard is no longer "for the game"; It's "for the money".

World of warcraft playerbase is a bit different than Everquest. Pair that with the fact that we are actually gaming in a different decade, a different time in gaming per se, you may see an outcome different than you predict.

Money is money. The face of it hasn't changed.
