It'd be neat if we had a ban log, so we could see who has been banned and for what reason. It's not a big deal but I know it's usually simple to setup on vb although with this version it might be more complicated.

It'd help when dealing with people and making sure you're not dealing with a scammer.

Yeah, the moderators could add the banned users AIM in the desc box or something.

There exists no built in functionality in vB. I have found no modifications for this kind of thing either -- at least for 3.8 (found several for 4.0).

Let me discuss it with the staff and see what they think of the idea. If they like it, I will add it to the list of things to code.

EDIT: Another note -- Some banned members do not have notes next to their name as I have a CRONJOB that runs hourly that checks for duplicate registration IPs and bans the users on the spot. So, the details on some users may not exist.

Alright. I just went through all of our current banned users and attached the proper reasoning. What a process.

Also, I fixed my ban script to put a reason in there insofar as duplicate IP ban.
