save us all the time and heartache for bumping out threads. make a button that bumps the thread and says "bump" only if there hasnt been a post for atleast 6 hours.

It would have to check YOUR last post on the thread, not the last post of the last user. That would technically not be a bump.

So, disable a user being able to post on his thread for 6 hours in any of the trading forums...?

I will definitely look into it and see if I can hack vB that way without causing a huge issue. The huge that I can see at the moment is that it is an additional query and could be a MAMMOTH query down the line. That would cause server load issues.

Yeah that could cause a lot of server load issues down the line, especially with the popularity of the forums going up daily.

I have looked into it and it would just be far too server intensive down the line.
