    RedS suggestion on scammers

I personally think that if a service provider lies about the service he or she provides and it costs someone their account (as in a banning) regardless of reimbursement they need to be banned for it.

I grow tired of seeing groups or companies lie to members about not using bots and or foriegn workers, which gives the whole community a bad name and public image. Honestly i think that it is time to take a stand here and put a stop to it.

my problem with it is this, all too many times an account worth several hundred dollars gets banned, and they only give the customer 80 or 100 bucks or just refund what was paid. the customer has to take it or get nothing at all in return. this is total bull**** as far as i am concerned and something needs to be done about it. end of story.

and yes, i have posted this on more than one forum.

I total agree. I don't usually buy services because of this very reason. I've seen way to many friends get screwed because they lie about not botting.

lets face it guys, allowing companies to post here that do this, is bad for everyone. think of the bad rep given out to a first timer that comes here and has this happen to them? they tell their freinds etc and it goes on and on like this.

star drumming up support for this, i will try to talk to masked later about it and see what he thinks.

    I completely agree.

There are so many people there who say they are a "US" company. Well sure, you're a US company, but all your workers are in china (or other foreign countries).

Unfortunately they get away with this because technically they are "American" owned but foreign operated.

I also agree, its not enough that they lie to get business, but then when our accounts get banned they act like they don't know what happened.

I was hoping you was gonna say shoot them, but banning works.

No matter which powerleveling service you chose, there is always a chance your account can be banned, right?

Yes but if they lie about botting it or hand leveling it or decide to advertise their services in trade chat with your account, they should be held responsible and should have to fully reimburse you.

Imagine if people like SpecializedMMO where win trading instead of legiting getting the rating you paid $1300 for, wouldn't you be upset?

Sure, but I'm just trying to explain how complex the issue is. If we have users on this forum who are straight out lying and you have proof please let us know and they will be dealt with appropriately.

There isn't anything really complex about it. Yea, there is a risk of doing it, but if done the right way nothing will ever happen. And I agree 100% with Triple, I think if your account gets banned, you should get what your account was worth refunded instead of the measly $50 they try to offer you.

But then again, thats where another issue comes up. There is no real way to tell the accounts true worth, it may be worth $1 to some and $500 to others.

It might take a lot of work to come up with something, but hey, we are trying to make MC a better place, where others failed.

I think there should be something, when someone orders a power leveling or arena rating, or whatever type of service, there should be on file what the account has on it, and both parties, the customer and the service provider must agree that the account has what is stated on it.

That way, if the account does get banned, the customer or the service provider can't lie and say it was greatly geared, or poorly geared, and then there needs to be a chart made by someone, on the value of accounts depending what is on the account.

Then the service provider either pays the customer what the account was worth, or they go bye bye.

But then, what happens if the account gets unbanned? Then the customer ends up with $500 and the account back. So my above method would be kind of pointless.

So, the only other idea I see here, The website should have a flat rate fee, that if the account gets banned, the service provider must pay the customer $100, $200..whatever it may be, or they go bye bye. That way if the account does get unbanned, the customer is only paid for their time they waited.

Sure all this probably sounds like ****, but someone has to say something and get ideas floating around if we ever wish to move forward.
