How to Buy & Sell Accounts the Safest Way Possible

Important Notice

Although this guide will show you the safest way possible to buy and sell accounts, there is always a risk that something could go wrong.
But i will also show you the best way to resolve the problems if any occur.

Buying Accounts

Now that Gameloft made it nearly impossible for OnC players to safely buy & sell accounts there are still ways to make it work.
Gameloft removed the "Change Username" and "Change Email" options the seller can easily recover the account, but here are some ways
you can secure that this wont happen.

First Tip

When buying a account don't be to afraid to pay first, because if the seller doesn't give the details you can always fill a dispute and get your
money back, or if you don't feel comfortable going first then let the seller go first.

Second Tip

Now that Gameloft removed the ability to change the associated email it might be a good idea to ask the seller if he is willing to give you the
email account associated with the OnC account, this way you can be 99% confident that the account wont be recovered.

Third Tip

After you receive the account details make sure that you change the password! This can be done by clicking on the Gameloft symbol on the log in
screen.

After that you click on the box where your name and score is displayed.

on the top left there is a button that says "edit", click on it.

then all you do is you change the password.

Fourth Tip

Before you buy a account make sure to do some background checks on the person selling the account. Gather some information about the person, stuff
like his Name, Last Name, Birthday, Phone Number, Address etc. Or you can even ask if you can add the seller on Facebook. That way you will know who you
are dealing with.

Fifth Tip

If you want to you can send Gameloft a Email after you bought the account and just tell them that you would like to change the associated email. I haven't
tried that yet but you never know, they might do it. (*Caution* Don't tell them you bought the account! They will ban you!)

Sixth Tip

If you fall victim to a scammer be sure to report him anywhere and everywhere you can! so that the person can be seen for what he is.

Selling Accounts

Selling accounts is probably safer than buying them. They have more advantages to being safe but it's also easier for them to scam buyers.
But the following few tips will ensure that you Sell your accounts safe and securely.

First Tip

When selling your account you can decide if you want to give the buyer the associated email address or if you want to keep it to ensure that
you can recover the account if the buyer fills a PayPal dispute. But if you trust the person it would be best to give the email.

Second Tip

If you decide that you are going to give the buyer the email make sure that you do a background check on the person. Find out who they are, the
easiest way to do this is to just add the person on Facebook.

Third Tip

It doesn't really matter to the buyer for who goes first. Because if the seller decides to go first and you decide that you're just going to keep the
money, then the seller can just fill a dispute and get his/her money back. And if you go first and the buyer doesn't want to pay you can just recover
the account by doing a password reset. So either way is fine.

Fourth Tip

If you forgot the associated email address then it's a different case. If this happens then i advise you let the buyer go first to ensure that there isn't
a risk involved for you.

Fifth Tip

If something happens that the buyer buys the account, change the password, and he has the email associated, you can contact Gameloft and tell them that
your account was "hacked" wink.. wink.. and they will try to get the account back for you. (You have a better chance if you are the original owner)

Sixth Tip

If you fall victim to a scammer be sure to report him anywhere and everywhere you can! so that the person can be seen for what he is.

Seventh Tip

If you've been scammed and you want to retrieve the account here is what you do:
Click on the Gameloft symbol.

Then scroll down and click on "Get Password"

And then just enter your email and click "Reset Password"

There is still a way to change the username and email. I will not post it officially because it might get removed. Gameloft has so many flaws.
