Not really a fan of any of the games in the Call of Duty cannon apart from the original Modern Warfare to be honest. Actually, I generally avoid most first-person shooters altogether.

My gripe with the Final Franchise series derives from the fact that technically speaking, they're pretty terrible games.

the stories/cinematic's are always what kept me hooked.

It`s actually kind of funny that you guys bring up the Call of Duty series because, when you really get down to the basics, the games aren`t all that different. Gameplay wise they are of course night and day, but in terms of the franchises as a whole they`re both comprised of games that are essentially remakes of their predecessors with slight graphics and gameplay tweaks.

Like Call of Duty, Final Fantasy`s core story has never really changed. The setting, characters, and general feel of the games have changed with each new iteration, but the base storyline, combat system, and general gameplay experience have remain more or less unchanged since the series was ported to the modern generation of consoles.

Plus I just can`t really get into the games at all, I find them boring and unengaging. There are plenty of much better JRPGs out there worth my time .

I do agree with Customz.

I find the FF series god awful.

Most had pretty much the same game play. Tho i never thought about something like that, as they were all fn amazing at the time. Saying the FF series is bad, is just saying you don't like that particular story.
