WTFast.com (What The Fast) - Make WOW Faster, Improve your Ping, Latency and Response time.

I was first introduced this program by a friend of mine and the thing works like magic. Before I started using it, I was getting 700-800ms latency on Malganis which is a CST server while I am based in northern California. The moment I started using WTFast, my latency hit 25-50ms. Since I heard about it, I have NEVER had my latency go over 100ms.

So, if you are experiencing issues with latency, I would definitely recommend this product. Could be the difference in your DPS and/or life and death.

There's now a number of companies that are offering the same service. I posted a list months ago after Marcus did his blurb. Our studio in Nanjing has tried just about everything and we've confirmed solid results even from China although these services aren't necessarily optimized for transpacific connections.

One of the benefit over a typical VPN is that these services use a chain of servers that web out and connect you over the best possible path. Since more of your path is private than just a single node, you have less unexpected lag spikes as well.

That's one thing nobody talks about. Sure it lowers your ping times, but it also makes the connection 'smooth'.

One unfortunate consequence of the success of these services is that too many Chinese studios are already using them so we've stuck with using your own private VPN servers.

Even if you don't have lag problems, check out the service. You might see ping times go from something like 90ms down to 30ms. For regular gamers, that might mean next to nothing. If you're a diehard arena fan, it could be the twitch-second difference between life and an occasional death.
