Default Computer Monitor with Xbox questions

So currently I use my computer monitor for my Xbox with a HDMI cable. Now my monitor doesn't have the red/yellow/white plugs in the back so I can't buy Turtle Beaches.

Now my friend does the same thing, but he uses his computer headset to listen to the volume (his computer has speakers just like mine.)

Now in the back there is a headset jack or some type of volume plug jack. I plug in my headset but no sound goes through it, but for him it works perfectly fine.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Use the blue/black (forget, it's been awhile since I've been on xbox/ps3) port in the back of your pc, should work.

Actually, I have a better idea, my friend uses a product called XIM360.

Why play xbox games on a small comp screen if you're mostly using it to play with the mouse.

XIM is a product that allows you to play Xbox on your TV but you can use your computer mouse and keyboard, def recommend you check it out, then you'd be also able to your beaches.

ALTHOUGH, Astro A40's are the best ;)

The site for the XIM is XIM360.com, def recommend you check it out.
