Elected: The 4th or 5th of November 2008 ( Depending on how you look at it)
Sworn in: 20 Jan 2009
Safe to say it's been over a year and is rounding on Two years.
Yet instead of rebounding our country we're still in a continuous downfall.
I'm a Republican and I didn't vote for Obama, but it would be stupid to think that with the velocity of our downfall, that some super human president could turn things around so swiftly.
In order to view things the right way, you need to very clearly differentiate realism and optimism.
I play life... professionally.
Spelling mistake / misuse of a word.
Grammar mistake.
Makes absolutely no sense.
For someone who was "old enough to vote" when Bus was elected (2001, making you 27 now at the very least) you sure as hell don't come off as being smart. Maybe we should spend less time on offering our opinions on things we aren't mature enough to fully understand and instead focus our attention on basic writing skills?
People who buy into this non-sense are no better than the religious. You believe in something that has no facts to support its existence, and makes absolutely no sense when looked at rationally. You realize this right? Or are you too blinded by the prospect of being a "free thinker" and not listening to "what the man wants"? I've always found that sentiment to be pretty funny, your life goal is to not conform to the norm, yet the amount of idiots conforming to your ideals is the same amount of people conforming to the norm.
"Oh sweet polka dotted arm sleeve dude!"
"Yea man I got it at hot topic, they totally had a sale dude."
"Sweet man, check out my striped arm sleeve bro, we can be like arm sleeve bros dude."
"Whoa, I bet all of the girls at school are going to hate these man."
"I know right? ****ing awesome."
Thats the transcription of the conversation I heard at the mall yesterday between two knobends with long black hair and super tight jeans. They were totally awesome, and would have been unique if it weren't for the hundreds of people walking around the mall who looked just like them.
TL;DR - You're stupid because you believe in things that have never, and will never be proven. Believing in these things does not make you cool or unique, it just makes you look like a twat. Stop believing in what you believe in, and become a free-thinker.
I hate how Obama and his administration is still blaming Bush. Its been a year now and all he does is blame Bush when his plans dont make things better. So It's obvious that he isnt the right choice now. This government has turned into something that used to be for the people for a government thats about government.
Obama is a mediocre president but saying you'd rather have Bush than him is just moronic, It's Bush's fault that we are even in this mess to begin with and it's Obama's fault that we're STILL in the storm. He is middling, not the best but certainly not the worse. If anything he's dedicated to just sit in the middle.
I hate when people say he's the greatest president ever then on the other side we got the same type of idiots going he's the worse president EVERRR he's a SECRET TERRORIST. I'm sick of people that delude themselves into believing one side or the other.
Shouldn't you be gloating about how you're amazing at WoW.
But your assumption of my intelligence because I accidentally got the dates wrong is a very solid argument! Because, god knows that 90% of human beings don't make any sort of mistakes, RIGHT?!
Tool.
Tell me what Bush did that was soooo bad. Please.... Lowered taxes? Defended the US properly?
We have been in the middle east for years. And its still not even a war, since congress didnt declare war.
Obama is failing to operate a government for the people and it is obvious. Our unemployment rate is rediculous and with the Bush tax cuts expiring do you think things will get worse? Yes.. Unless Ombama EXTENDS the Bush cuts.
Oh to add.. It only takes one year to really mess things up.
