I've tried the patch, the gum, chantix, and cold turkey. I cannot seem to stop. I can go a couple weeks without smoking, but as soon as something happens to stress me out, it seems like I start right back up again. Just wondering if any of you have quit, and if so what method worked for you?

I wish i could stop, if you find a good method fill me in as well.

Simple, don't buy any more cigs and throw away the ones you have now.

I never understood how people become so addicted to smoking.

Just go for walks and try working out to relieve stress.

Easy to say as a non smoker big cat ;)

The biggest problem is that I have been smoking at least a pack a day since I was 14. I'm 27 now.

i feel ya pain, though you've smoked longer then me i still know how it is, im a pack a day and been smoking for 5-6 years now

My dad was a pack a day smoker for 45ish years and he went cold turkey one day, smoking has always been in my life, I even tried to for a few months, as easy as it was to start it was even easier to quit.

Just... don't buy anymore.

swap ciggs with ghanja.

Used to smoke da ganja, but I've got kids now. Would rather not make that switch.

Go buy an e-Cig.

Not sure if they're illegal where you are, though. They are basically a branded cigarette that uses synthetics and fake smoke. They have a really good reputation and amazing reviews in Europe.

And it charges by USB I think.

Definitely check it out.
