Default Runescape (Jagex) asks for customer information when suing bot developers

That's one way to get ban waves. This could result in bot makers seeking out third parties so that the bot makers don't have customer information directly. (Or they could just take payment with Bitcoin, which is an anonymous currency).

Jagex aside from Blizzards limited initiative to take down botting websites is unmatched. They're willing to spend millions to take these developers out of the picture.

Thankfully -- the bot I use still works. ;)

    Btraill, you sneaky, sneaky man!

Not trying to be a diiiiiicck or anything, but, I didn't think anyone really played Runescape anymore.
Glad to see it's still an active game. Last time I played it was in 6th grade, so, 8 years ago?

It's ridiculously active. They came back with open PvP (wilderness and Free-Trade).

I enjoy it; you just need to make sure you're not playing with little kids.
