I'm sure a lot of you 'SWToR Veterans' know a lot about it already and I have a few questions and I'll be comparing them to wow...


Do you pick servers -- If so what are some popular servers?

What would be a good healing class (if they have them) difficulty doesn't matter.

What type of currency is used?

How's the end-game? middle-game? heroics&(???) // instances, and what not.

How's the grind to 55?

Should I buy it and start Grinding?

Yes, you pick servers, there's a GIANT list of them, populars off the top of my head are - The Iron Citadel, The Crucible Pits, The Swiftsure, Jung Ma Empire, etc, there are various servers you'll see that are heavily populated ones during peak hours.

I think one of the best healing classes right now are sorcerers (Empire) or consulars (Republic) they're like caster DPS (mage/warlock) or healer (more priest like with shields/direct healing).

The currency used in the game is called "credits."

The end-game right now is alright.. there are 8 mans or 16 mans flashpoints (raids) however since the game is still relatively new the mardmode/nightmare mode of the bosses are still a bit bugged and what not. Mid-game is pretty fun, if you enjoy good RP and a story this is the game for you when it comes to questing, they have intricate plots and unique storylines with each class. Instances are alright, while you level up you'll do heroic 4 man/2 man group quests in almost every zone.

The max level is 50 and the grind isn't too bad, I am not much for RP myself so I didn't follow the storyline too much but it takes a good 4-6 days to level up depending on what you do and if you listen to the dialogue.

I would recommend the game if you are retiring from another MMO or looking for a new game to play, I enjoy it myself, I just hit 50 and PvP/PvE is pretty fun but currently this patch has brought on quite a few issues they still need to address.

SWTOR has been a great game and I have enjoyed it, until I hit level 50. There is just not enough to do at level 50 in my opinion. PvP is broken at the moment with spell queuing having issues. You may press a heal and then 30 seconds later the heal will execute when the player is already dead.

The leveling experience was wonderful and I am in the process of leveling up a second character now. It is something to do until the stuff to do at level 50 is more refined.

Game died off for me at level 50, as Shane mentioned, there isn't very much to do when you hit max level (Think RIFT when it was released) Though, I'm sure they'll be pumping them out pretty quickly, they just dropped their first major Patch, annnd, it's pretty decent I would say.

Game is good, can't say it's great, but, it's good. WoW pre-Cata changes(World changes, questing, and, just the overall ****ttttt bad expac.) /iswas still the better game.
But, since they aren't reverting the changes, SWTOR is the way to go, IMO.
