Here is the thing, I have three options :

1) I spend my time developping anti crack features and can't upgrade the bot : bad

2) I let cracks be there, but as I need money (you know, to live) I gotta stay in my intern, so I don't have time to developp (Work from 7 am to 8 pm) : Bad too

3) Crackers stop : I have enough money and time to update the bot : Awesome


I'm not a big corp who earns milion of dollars. So please keep in mind that when you crack the bot, you keep it from being updated. Actually cracks are slowing me down and klling my motivation. Think about it.

I think the only thing you could do is to developp anti crack features..
It will cost time but it's the only way to stop some of them.

And I don't want to put boring DRMs, I already don't like that players must connect before playing..

Yep it would be better if it could "save" login information.

I actually only discovered this bot due to a crack version appearing on a forum a forum I frequent. I could have kept using the crack but I'd much rather pay the $7 a month to get safe, reliable updates and support a good developer! It's not a steep price, I don't understand why people would crack such a reasonable bot!

It really pisses me off it's not like the dev is a millionaire he's just trying to make a buck and now it will slow down improvements to the bot. I'm all for cracking but not the little guys...

Basically, my mind about cracks is this :
Big softwares, movies music or anything have lot of money. They don't mind being cracked.

Indie developpers (in any field) don't, and a crack is a pain for them.
Plus, in the bot's field, most of the people know how to use a crack, so it's a greater problem
