Over the course of the past 9 months (launched July 2nd, 2010), Masked Armory has taken off better than I have ever imagined. Almost 30,000 profiles have been created and hundreds more are being created daily!

Because of the way the anonymous armory profile market is, there is a lot of upkeep needed to make sure that everything stays in working order. My competitors have not done that. Sites like myarmory.net, armoryx.com, and many others have all fallen victim to not maintaining their sites and/or making things far too load intensive.

The competition has constantly shown me to keep on top of my game and I have. Today, I have introduced a couple of changes to Masked Armory and I am proud to share them with you now.

• Feats of Strength -- SHOWN BY DEFAULT! -- That is right, Masked Armory now shows Feats of Strength by default on your armory achievement page!
• Profile creation times -- Our profile creation time is down from ~6.9 seconds to ~2.5 seconds. This is a huge cut and is the result of a lot of code optimization.
• Frontpage Optimization -- I have removed the Notable Achievements and Show Name/Realm options because they are both no longer necessary and have added description text about Masked Armory to help with SEO.

Please note that I am ALWAYS looking for ways to improve Masked Armory. I am currently waiting on Blizzard to finish the XML feeds for the new Battle.net armory, but that has been 6 months in the works already and they show no sign of making it a priority. The moment that they release these feeds, I will be reworking Masked Armory and helping it to stay on top!
