i chatted for about 10 minutes using the im system an while the chat window was still open. i opened a new tab for a different thread. the chat window had to load all that text line by line which is very laggy on this comp and time consuming. i assume if i had closed it and then opened the tab and received a msg it would only show that and not load my last convo
